Bronx River

The 24-mile river extends through the Bronx, and into Westchester County. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the river became a natural sewer into which industrial waste was being poured everyday. Today, various organizations have made efforts to restore the river, and provide accessible public spaces. This ongoing project examines the waterway through various communities, and it’s usage.
